Rock Up (2008):

4 short animation pieces made by autistic children in response to ranger-led activities on Arthurs Seat, the origin of volcanos, tree orienteering, a mini beast adventure and an exploration of the Geographical time line written in the rocks.

Developed over a 12 week term the films have a very wide scope taking in everything from the Big Bang, Animal wildlife Conservation, the Afterlife, the Cash Economy, Geocaching… and the love of a duck…   

Rock up was an animation made with Kaimes ASL in partnership with First Light Films and the Park Rangers in Holyrood Park and was winner of the EIFF Schools award ‘Best Creativity’ category 2008.
